After an intensive workout, my boyfriend and I could always use some quality protein. So we had a great excuse to visit Yoghurt Barn on a rainy Sunday.
I’m not a fan of lactose so I always go for an alternative. Luckily that’s not a problem at Yoghurt Barn, soy yogurt is also on the menu. My boyfriend and I decided to skip the fixed menu and customize our own yogurt treat. It was pretty busy Sunday at the barn, so a little patience was required. Quite a challenge when you have a realy big appetite 😉
Fortunately, our yogurt creations were delicious and worth the wait. I choose to fill my soy yogurt with pecan nuts, cranberries, blueberries and dark chocolate. My boyfriend chose curd with pecan nuts, cranberries, granola, mango and dark chocolate. We enjoyed every bite, and sadly our bowls were empty way too fast. The Yoghurt Barn has more than just yogurt specials, the menu offers blended yogurt and frozen yogurt. But you can also drop by for coffee and something sweet, such as brownies, carrot cake or cookies.
The Yoghurt Barn stands for sustainability. The yogurt and smoothies are served in weck jars or recycled glass and all to-go containers are biodegradable. The Yoghurt Barn sells 100% pure products so the yogurt comes directly from the farm. The tasty coffee and juices are also organic. The Yoghurt Barn is a ‘ feel-good ‘ concept.
