Greedy! That’s what you feel like when visiting Rood & Bloem. Everywhere you look, there’s cute items that you’d like to buy immediately. Rood & Bloem sells gorgeous interior design items, jewelry, bags and small tidbits, plants and amazing flowers. The owner, Carolien, handpicks all the products, plants and flowers herself, with utmost care. Only the things she likes and wants to buy herself get a spot in her store.

“My biggest passion is to give a space character with colors, flowers and materials and make people happy with a nice environment. Making the world a more welcome and warm place.”

New location on the Springweg

Rood & Bloem has moved from the creative breeding ground Vechtclub XL on the Europalaan, to the Springweg. Now located in the heart of Utrecht, Rood & Bloem has a big ‘real’ shop where the selection of plants is larger than in the previous location. This new spot in the Dom Quarter has cool neighbours like Cafe Elize, Pim’s Olifant, Sim Son and Zolamanola. So reason enough to come shop on the Springweg.

Multi talented

After working as a stylist for a big international brand for many years, it was time for Carolien to make her dreams come true and there it was: Rood & Bloem. Considering the owner is also a florist, it was an logical decision to sell a small selection of plants and flowers alongside exclusive designer items in the shop. If you’re looking for a new look for your house’s interior, you can also ask Carolien to pimp your home’s look, for a small budget. Rood & Bloem also offers some creative workshops.
