Wine bar VinVin is the first wine bar in Utrecht, a lot of people were very happy to finally see this concept in the city. VinVin is a hidden gem in the back of the city centre. VinVin serves the best wines with different side dishes, like anti pasti, bread and cheese. The crew knows a great deal about wine and are very eager to advise. At VinVin you can also enjoy live music and if you want to learn more about wine follow one of the wine tastings.

Lefebvre
One of my favorite wine cafes located on the Neude, a great spot for a drink after a day of shopping. The small wine-cafe has a minimalistic, stylish and warm feel. The wall is filled with quotes about wine, a great feature. Crew is young and very eager to helpful. During summer the terrace is packed! Great spots along the Neude.

Daens Coffee & Wine Bar
Daens: fashion, coffee, wine food hotel states the tagline. Daens is a concept store in the city centre of Utrecht. The interior of the concept store and cafe is great, very simple yet impressive. Best thing is the passageway from the shop to the coffee and wine-bar. After shopping at Daens which has a good collection for women and men, you can enjoy a good glass of wine. Or maybe coffee and some home made cake is more your thing. On the terrace you have a view of the Dom tower.

Talud9
Talud9, located on the ‘t wed was a hit from the opening. Talud9 is a small wine & coffee bar situated on one of the most buzzing squares of Utrecht. The interior is very cosy, with a bar at the side and large high tables on the other side of the room. Talud9 looks a little like a wine seller, the lights are dimmed and the candles shimmer enough light through the room. It’s a great spot to meet up with friends to have a chat and drink delicious wines. Recently they owner of Talud9 opened a new wine bar just across the street. Verde Marrone is a wine bar where you can order delicious bruschetta’s and small bites to go with your wine.

Rubens Proeflokaal
At Rubens Proeflokaal I attended a network wine tasting workshop. It was awesome! Learned so much about wine from the passioned owner in just a few hours. Not only did he serve us about six different wines; red, white and bubbles. He also had complementary small dishes that were very tasty. We were very impressed with his skills. The owner also told us were to buy delicious wines for our own private tasting at home… Check the website for tastings.

Zies
Zies is located in the Twine Street, the oldest street of Utrecht. This wine spot is a small but cosy bistro slash wine bar. At Zies you will find Mediterranean dishes that fit perfectly with the wines on the menu. After shopping on the cosy Twijn, you can easily stop by for a drink and a bite at Zies.

Bar Cava
The newbie under the wine bars in Utrecht is Bar Cava. Bar Cava offers good wines with bites from various parts of the world, in the heart of Utrecht. The interior of the small cafe is nice and cozy. Snug on the bar stool and order some delicious bubbles with oysters or a few bites on a plank. Yes, Bar Cava is quite busy on the Friday and Saturday. So grab that bar stool quickly!
