Recently the Nike Clearance Store opened it’s doors in Utrecht at the Shoppingcentre Overvecht.
I really like to shop for trainingwear, but prices are not always that friendly. An outlet can be the ideal solution, price friendly sportswear for fanatic athletes. Please note, that at this outlet the default collection is not available, they only sell the collection that is no longer available in the regular Nike store.
On Saturday morning my boyfriend and I decided to visit the Nike Clearance store. The outlet is spacious and tidy. In the front apparel and accessories, at the back a whole bulk of shoes and some fitting rooms.
During our search in the outlet I was mainly looking for tights and a running jacket. Eventually I brought some tights and two jackets to the fitting room. The fitting rooms are very spacious and have the appearance of a oldskool locker-room. Trying on clothes is not that bad at the Nike Clearance Store!
My opinion after fitting: the tights were quite a size too small , and unfortunately they did not have other sizes in stock. Too bad! The jacket I am wearing in the photo has a great fit. Only the fabric of this jacket was very thin. When I want to run in the winter, this jacket would be to cold. The jacket is not that expensive, for € 30 you have a nice running jacket. Note to self : next time do not wear a dress when shopping for trainingwear.
The collection of this Nike outlet is stocked weekly. It is wise to check it out occasionally. This time I didn’t buy anything, but I will definitely go there another time to check out the collection. They also sell sports accessories such as socks, gloves, bags etc.
