Smood, located at the Vismarkt, is the new health conscious food spot in Utrecht. The juice bar offers vegetable and fruit juices that are made fresh daily – you can also pick up fresh fruit, nuts, or a bar for on the go.

There are also useful smoothie bowl specials on the menu which you can order with as many extra toppings as you want – you can also get really creative and design your own smoothie bowl. Plus, Smood offers salad and fruit cups which are perfect for a healthy little snack. And they didn’t forget about the kiddo’s – you can grab them a small smoothie in flavors they’re sure to love.

What was an antique lamp shop on the Vismarkt is now a minimalistic white and trendy hotspot. The owner, Marlees, used to live and work on the island of Curacao and decided to start her own business as soon as she moved back to the Netherlands. For weeks she worked on the space and turned it into something beautiful.

While Smood is the perfect spot to grab something yummy and healthy on the go – you can also stay and hangout for a while in their window at the front, or their outdoor terrace. While you are enjoying your daily dose of vitamins, the hustle and bustle of the city passes you by. A moment of rest in the inner city.
