Countdown! Only three weeks left until Easter (March 30th until April 2nd) is here. It’s a weekend filled with festivities, but what is there to do in Utrecht? I did some research for you and have listed the best events!

LE:EN – March 30th 20:00-00:30

LE:EN, one of my favorite restaurants in town, is organising LE:EN PLAY F:LM for the second time! NEEL, the room next to the restaurant, will be transformed into a cinema and the movie ‘Ip Man’ will be played. Ip Man is a true story about the YIP Man, a Chinese Kung-Fu fighter who ensured that his fellow citizens were capable of defending themselves during the Japanese invasion. LE:EN will provide you with a welcome drink (Sake, yes!) and Asian finger food during the break. Werkspoor Kathedraal – March 30th until April 2nd

The Werkspoor Festival will once again take place during the Easter weekend – a free event for the whole family. The large industrial cathedral will be transformed into a gastronomic paradise. Different food trucks will be selling tasty snacks and dinner. And you won’t get bored after dinner, since Werkspoor Festival has organised many activities for all ages. Festival Tweetakt – March 30th until June 10th

The 16th edition of the artistic Festival Tweetakt will take place this year. The festival will take over the entire city with multidisciplinary activities. Visit a theater, dance or music performance, an exhibition, or a stand-up comedy show. For example, the Neude will once again be adorned with a huge pop-up building where performances can be seen every night while enjoying some drinks and dinner. Theatres throughout the whole city will be filled with performances, and at Fort Ruigenhoek at Groenekan, visual arts will be exhibited on Sundays and public holidays! tweetakt.nl

Garage sale – March 31st

Twice a year, UTCA030 and Sneakerbaas organise a garage sale at the Kintgenshaven! This year, Atelier Ohlala is joining them too. Because the event will take place precisely during the Easter weekend, the theme of the garage sale will be Easter. Lenteboerderij – April 2nd

When I think of spring, I think of lambs! This Easter, they can be admired at the Spring Farm. The Spring Farm will start their season on Easter Monday. Exclusive Spring Fair – March 30th until April 2nd

During the Easter weekend, the exclusive indoor and outdoor fair will take place on the Kasteel Groeneveld estate in Baarn. It’s a unique housing fair, where the entire castle will be transformed into a pop-up department store.
